Recipe: Turmeric Milk

Turmeric Milk


  • 1 ½ cup organic milk. Grass fed cow, goat, or coconut dairy free options oat, almond, coconut or other milk
  • 1 small teaspoon raw honey
  • ½ teaspoon turmeric powder
  • ½ teaspoon butter, ghee, or coconut oil
  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground cardamom powder
  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground nutmeg powder
  • 1 tablespoon gelatin (needs to be hydrolysed so that it does not solidify)
  • Pinch black pepper


Combine all ingredients in a small pot and heat over medium heat until it almost comes to a boil. Remove from heat and enjoy. Turmeric is a potent anti-inflammatory and this milk recipe can be a wonderful beverage to help with sleep.
