Turmeric Milk
Ingredients:
- 1 ½ cup organic milk. Grass fed cow, goat, or coconut dairy free options oat, almond, coconut or other milk
- 1 small teaspoon raw honey
- ½ teaspoon turmeric powder
- ½ teaspoon butter, ghee, or coconut oil
- ½ teaspoon freshly ground cardamom powder
- ½ teaspoon freshly ground nutmeg powder
- 1 tablespoon gelatin (needs to be hydrolysed so that it does not solidify)
- Pinch black pepper
Instructions:
Combine all ingredients in a small pot and heat over medium heat until it almost comes to a boil. Remove from heat and enjoy. Turmeric is a potent anti-inflammatory and this milk recipe can be a wonderful beverage to help with sleep.
